The immediate world and my emotional existence are bridged by the balancing act of my practice. Items I accumulate daily including yarn, wire, textiles, and found objects, are composed into a vessel of emotions from a snapshot of time. Collectively, these pieces are a manifestation of my experience living through the ever-changing world. Capturing and preserving these specific moments is a spontaneous act. The nature of physically binding materials together replicates a balance of self-discovery and acceptance. These works are indicative of my journey to find the simple joy of being alive.
