Whenever I tell anyone I have Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder they always seem surprised. It is never expected, even though ADHD awareness is on the rise.
My ADHD is a social media campaign of illustrated personal stories. Being someone who does not fit the mainstream ADHD mold, I have drawn upon my personal experiences of living with ADHD, to educate people about the lesser-known symptoms as well as broaden their understanding of what Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder looks like.
I also hope that my experiences may resonate with others who have or suspect they have ADHD, but feel forgotten because their disorder does not present in a way that neurotypical people recognize.
